The Perfect “Blend” of Marketing and Gimmick

In an effort to show the ridiculous strength of their product, blender company Blendtec has started a web series called “Will it blend?”.

With a unique fifties game show schtick, and loaded with corny jokes, it really brings something new to the table into the world of digital advertising. It allows Blendtec to advertise themselves, while also advertising other companies by blending their products (Grand Theft Auto IV, Old Spice, Twilight, Etc.). These blenders can blend everything from a crowbar to a can of pork and beans, and they found the perfect way to advertise for every demographic.
