A Fresh Pot of Guerilla Marketing

With so many big players competing in the coffee category, it takes a lot of creativity to compete against the likes of Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.

To stir up some buzz for their Premium Coffee product, McDonald’s transformed a streetlight to look like a giant pot pouring into a cup.  At the base of the lamp was the eye-opening offer: FREE COFFEE.  While it helps to have a huge marketing budget, we applaud this unique campaign.  I’m lovin’ it!
